Hurricane Darby and Hurricane Celia No Immediate Threat?

Thursday Hurricane Darby that was formed in the Pacific off Mexico’s southwest coast. And another Hurricane Celia has moved into a powerful Category 5 storm farther out at sea.. National Hurricane Center in Miami, says that Hurricane Darby with winds of 90 mph is in category 1 was located in 255 miles south of Acapulco on Thursday night. Hurricane Darby by next week could take a sudden eastward turn putting it on a path toward Mexico’s southern Pacific coast.

The prediction on the Hurricane Darby is still tentative and it will depend on the tropical wave of pressure forming in the western Caribbean. Another Hurricane named Celia has just strengthened to a Category 5 hurricane considered to be the strongest designation on the Saffir-Simpson scale with its maximum sustained winds increased to 160 mph its direction is headed towards the west across the open Pacific. Hurricane Celia was located about 785 miles south-southwest of the southern tip of Mexico’s Baja California peninsula.
